I don't understand why major arm contracts suddenly went from having obvious geopolitical implications (e.g. Turkey S-400 procurement) to being "mere contracts".

This assumes the demand for property stays the same. Is it likely, once it becomes obvious there's a chance your property will be destroyed by rising sea levels?

Is it "most" or is it UKUSA? France is not a two party theater and suffers from the same thing. Germany is not a two party theater and suffers from the same thing.

I think this would be mostly solved by reporting the life expectancy at some other age than birth - e.g. the life expectancy at 20, thereby cutting out the effects of child mortality - or reporting the median age of death.

I am not arguing that the product naming is perfect, only that is not completely absurd as others claimed. Comparing the performance of laptop and desktop is a niche case. Most people know whether they want a laptop or a desktop and then ch

Most people have no need to compare CPUs between mobile/non mobile or generation. They just need to know if the laptop they're looking at has the high end / middle end / low end CPU. You'd be comparing a new laptop
