Ah, I'm noticing that my parent comment didn't quite say what I intended! What I wanted to say, was that helix should make an additional keymapping file that has nearly identical keys to vim. Repositories like gitui [0] do this, s

There are tons of open source STT models, what makes whisper so valuable? I especially don't get it on mobile, where the native STT built into the OS is now real-time and includes punctuation (at least for iOS). I love the open-source

Linux can easily replace a Mac or Windows machine for me, but I’ve yet to see any device that could even come close to the iPad Pro. Apple’s second generation pencil is perfect to the point where I’ve never once had to consciously charge it

I want to love helix, but the transition from vim is too great with very few resources that explain how something that would be done in vim could be done in helix.

Updated to the beta specifically for this app. Loving it so far. I’m beginning to work on a new project, and this is awesome for having my papers, documentation, sketches, and notes in one area

I’ve got the same question. One of the major reasons I invest time into vim is because it’s everywhere and so powerful. If I invested time into learning a different set of keys for an editor that isn’t always available, I wouldn’t be able t
