Kudos on getting decent audio. Are you using a Rode Podcaster? I'd love to try one. I've had to unsubscribe to countless podcasts with decent content just because they didn't invest the £100-200 on a decent microphone & pop filter. As y

Ha, well no. But clearly it's meant to emulate an Apple SKU. Yet another way it's using all the look and feel of an Apple item purchase to confuse the seller. I think the problem is that even if the buyer is aware that orders may be fulfill

I had this too when I bought an iPad Smart Cover. The price is really the only way you could know it was a knock-off product: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004TEPN8M/ref=oh_o00_s00... Fortunately I just needed something cheap for a

I worked a tech company with a decent lawyer who needed to cross-check all the marketing newsletters and blog entries we posted related to the Winter Olympics. By the end we were using such convoluted terms that it rendered the entire exerc

I'm surprised the furore has suddenly taken place now. 'Pink slime' has been known about for some time. Indeed, I remember Jamie Oliver's TV show in the US where he actually poured ammonia over meat that had been through a washing machine -

Sure they would. But if a company has a complimentary quote from a reputable source then I'm more likely to find it credible than one without.

What is supposed to be being ditched here? If it's the pitching to/grooming of tech blogs, then companies themselves will decide what's effective for them. Number of referrals is surely just one measure. Credibility ("as featured on TechCru

It's not so much clever PR as it is common sense. If there's a potential problem on the horizon, nip it in the bud. Facebook isn't really in the PR game - there have been enough catastrophes for that theory to be blitzed. This was simply so

I now use Twitter Bootstrap as the starting point for all my projects, but not in the way many folk are. The LESS files are a goldmine for me. Pre-made mixins, cross-browser support, responsive media queries, color functions For me the LESS

From what I see, the Samwer brothers don't have great execution. They copy a site, claim a userbase in Germany/Europe, then sell the site back to the people they imitated. It reeks of "go away" money.

Once you start using mixins, you'll never go back. Add a clearfix, IE hack or a cross-browser CSS3 property at the drop of a hat, over and over again. I also find that just due to the nature of the nesting, I'm writing much tidier CSS as a

Wanting to get email to "work" is a noble effort, but that means different things to different people. A more intuitive user interface will sadly not magically transform email into something usable. Receiving fewer emails, might.
