Zuckerberg's luck is what makes him CEO of one of the FANG companies and not just another engineer at any random tech company. We can all point to minor changes in someone's life path that if changed would not put them where they

My Sony Smart TV is crap and I will never buy another Sony TV. Yes it runs android. It's slow to respond to input. Sometimes when I'm guessing it needs to page out code it can take 5-30 seconds before u can actually use it. It

I wonder if there been a study on if there is any difference in outcomes. Japan also has a lower barrier to entry to be a doctor than the USA. Medical care is much less expensive but I run into plenty of quack doctors that would not qualify

I have dumb question > You can rewind the full state of the program to any previous point in time Where does all this saved state go? I'm running a game that runs at 60fps, every frame 10s of megs of data change. It won't take

My experience is this is only if it's your own code and you have a full mental model of the state of the program. I worked on a lisp project and the lead would see a crash, type some lisp, continue, app would run. The rest of the team

If Jeff Bezos was to commit murder tomorrow and be caught I suspect the police would chase him, catch him, throw him in jail, he'd make bail and it would turn into a scene like OJ. I don't expect he'd be able to raise an army
