This article makes the dumbest assertions I've heard about quality software development in quite a while. The "study" isn't really a study. Even so, the metrics that it claims to derive aren't there for the picking.

I don't think the technology behind it was particularly new or novel. It was simply arranging known technology to a new application. Given the lack of research, but perhaps the high experimentation, millions make sense.

Oh god I hope not. I use DDG as my full time search engine. I don't need Apple coming in, limiting it to their walled garden and ruining it. You might be onto something though since DDG and Apple signed a deal on the default maps for D

It is inaccurate. You say "slightly slower". The metrics behind the delays are much longer and your numbers only seem to include time in transit. Second reason your summary is inaccurate: DeJoy's changes are rolled out in sma

Not being as familiar with shipping, how would one find the metrics for this? Is there some kind of an initial "scan" upon drop-in to the box and then a second scan when they pick it up? If not, then I imagine the metrics would on

"Technically competent" is a wide spectrum, you'd like to have to narrow that down a little. I use Manjaro. Started my Linux journey on Knoppix (for coolness), then Ubuntu (for easy/popularity), then Fedora (for serious

These are not mutually exclusive. Option 3 is a consequence of not delivering on Option 2. No one is advocating holding the SIP just because its fun. The reason is because of a lack of control on it (Option 2). Removing SIP prematurely and

I mean, that makes perfect sense. Your local nursery is not selling essential good like you admitted. What is the logic of letting them be open? It is very difficult to produce a perfect list of all spaces and businesses that might be "

:( I'm still flabbergasted at the need to compare to the EU or European states. No where in my original comments did I bring them up, or was thinking of them. Your snide metaphor also doesn't work since the EU does not override th
