Really interested to try this out. I crank out between 5 and 15 content pieces each week (blog posts, ebooks, white papers) and am constantly looking for ways to optimize my workflow. It has never occurred to me to modify column width to g

Amen. I can't think of another brand that fosters so much "I'll spend more money here" compared to "I'll use a different brand."

GoDaddy and Dell are both excellent places to work.

It is not the SaaS providers job to try and decipher a user's intentions. Lots of services (Pipedrive for example) will let users pay indefinitely for licebsed not in use. Sure, it works to their advantage from a revenue standpoint. Bu

I guess I don't see 100 as being very much money based on the poster's previous declaration that it's his favorite book melded with his kid's favorite book. Most people spend 100 a month on stuff they don't actually

While we are here, can anyone recommend a laptop with a crazy bright screen and a good battery? As in "I am sitting by the pool for a couple weeks and need to work, too." Will be Chrome and Office so most every other spec is sec

I've told many people 5hat for all the good and bad I've done in life, the one thing that worries me if there actually is St Peter is my work on the congressional maps. Not to self agrandize (sp) and what's done is done, but

I was a 22 year old republican given something important to do. I had no idea at the time that we were setting the country on an irredeemable path. It was as exciting at the time as it is shameful now.

Yes. I was an intern for the ranking republican in the Texas state house (Tom craddick) at the time. I was the only person who knew how to use a computer at more than a basic level so I had my hand on the mouse as we used a brand new map

The bad Afghan press will have absolutely zero impact on the midterms, much less the 2024 general. This is a MUCH more significant issue here at home. Easy decision for the press to move it to the front page. And Abbott is a terrible polit

And if Beto will get out of the way and run for Lt Governor (where the real power is) so McCaughey can run for Governor we might turn things around

by goatherders 5y ago
Yes. I literally drew the Texas congressional lines in 2000 that set all this in motion and the primary goal of everything the state party does is to purge the state of people that don't vote Republican.

Because someone submitted it and other people are commenting on it. Democracy in action.

Good. I live here and can't leave fast enough. This state is a mess.

This one hurts. One of my favorite parts of his style was he often didn't hit the high hat on 4 of a 4/4 beat. It's hard to hear it but I always thought that was an interesting choice. Whether he did it because that's ho

Good for you. I laugh at people who cry "you don't create value!" So what. What you are doing, however, is recognizing value that others don't see which is a significantly more valuable skill. Domain names are digital

It's pretty common for any flight over 4 hours to be business class required. I'm driving millions of dollars per revenue...being tired for the first 2 days of a 3 day trip to London simply isn't efficient.

Yes. That's what I do. Even with an expense account I buy the single serving vodka at the liquor store nearby.

by goatherders 5y ago
If you had ever had an expense account then you wouldn't. It's part of the deal.

There are lots and lots of jobs that have health and dental. Most of them are not at FAANG or Palantir or the NSA or the CIA.... My recommendation is to find a job, any job, that serves your purposes and commit to staying for at least 2 y
