> And the USA allowed a vasall to fine a master nation's company? That might be how it works between Russia and "friends" but not here. We fine American companies as much as we want. > Otoh 60M for Microsoft is nothing.

The thing is this is something we suffer through while we wait for companies to get enough, and large enough fines to actually read GDPR and respect it. Once that happens it will be almost as before, just with less battery usage, less netwo

Then fines like this come along and will force Microsoft to simplify the ux of this down to where it should be: It should be absolutely trivial to reject tracking unless you actively want it.

No, I usually skip breakfast and the usual lunch. Typically I just drink 0.5L of milk and walk 2-4 km during the lunch break although I do make exceptions once a week or something. For me personally this works well, I don't get hungry

It is also the simplest refactoring, and my point is no command line tricks I have can seen can even reliably do this. Refactoring support in modern IDEs goes far beyond renaming public fields and methods.

As far as I can see it the single most important thing about Mozilla today is that they keep alive one of two mainstream renderers that aren't owned by Google. I think everyone who has followed the industry for long enough knows that i

Exactly. Find something that works for oneself. Keto works for some people. Just reducing plate size helps for some. Personally I skip breakfasts (I love breakfast, but it is not worth the brain fog that I personally get later in the day) a

I think I realized two things a while ago: 1. calories in / calories out is true when calories are around what you need or below. If you go above, a lot it the excess calories will, for many of us, just leave unused. 2. Many people con

So are we finally getting Google+ back? Or another Twitter clone? That said, when it comes to Mozilla I'd prefer if they fix some long standing issues on the browser, from the top of my head: - fix the API so I can use Tree Style Tabs

I joked recently that these days, if you see a XML file in a project it means there is a higher probability that the project is good. It means someone of those who make it is capable of making pragmatic decisions.
