I think he means that it's a deal compared to other good CS masters degrees. Obviously, things are expensive for people in different places. Hell, 7k is pretty damn expensive for a lot of Americans too.

Pledging to give away so much of your wealth has interesting side benefits. You get to keep your money out of the hands of the government and if you're donating to your own charity then you also get to keep your family in control of th

It's interesting to me that in May of last year Snap, Inc raised about the same amount of money. I've never understood how some companies need so much money. To me it makes sense for Tesla. They are building actual cars and that i

There's another possibility. This guy could have been rather obnoxious about his views in the past and had been repeatedly warned. Then he wrote a memo that appeared to be professional but espoused the same views and was finally fired

I don't think what I believe about the memo matters. I just wanted to hear what people had to say with regards to being inclusive of people with ideas they don't agree with. Judging by how few responses I got that even attempted t

Thank you. I realize no that it's easy to think that I believe the made up scenario I presented is the same as what happened at Google. That wasn't my intention. My point was to answer the question (that pretty much no one has eve

I think you've made some incorrect assumptions about who I am and what I think about these issues. Maybe I'm wrong but I'll leave a few points so we're on the same page: I have been involved in the hiring process at more

I'm sorry but your response doesn't really answer my question at all. What I want to hear are some suggestions about how to include people who hold inflammatory opinions in a group that generally doesn't share those opinions.

I am a black dude from an upper middle class family that went to private school his whole life and I am very, very familiar with how it's possible to have great ethnic diversity but a severe lack of diversity in other areas (and how ne

How would it open up the platform for abuse (serious quetion, not snark)? The CA we use to get wildcard certs for our customers uses a challenge process very similar to LE's http-01.
