Stanford's AI class listed some Khan Academy videos as prerequisites. I saved the list, you can see them here: Probability: http://delicious.com/stacks/view/TMPTxM Linear algebra: http://delicious.com/stacks/view/IqJHli

Khan Academy posts here every month because we're growing. I was hired after responding to a post on HN, and since then we've hired roughly 1 full time developer or designer per month. See this months post for more details: http://news.yco

I don't agree these effects are unintended rather than highly desirable benefits.

I can assure you we don't consider turning down applicants as marketing. Please feel free to apply again in a few months - we try to err on the side of caution when hiring, and any interviewing process likely has a large margin of error.

If you need something like Flask for GAE, you will probably find this[1] interesting. It convinced me to use webapp2 over Flask. Webapp2 is actually replacing Google's implementation with the upcoming Python 2.7 release[2]. [1]: http://sta

I'm an Australian working in the US on an E3 visa. The ease of getting an E3 was definitely an advantage for me. I recently joined a startup and did all the leg-work myself, without a lawyer. The only thing the company needed to do was fill
