Neither should be offenses that cause someone to go to prison. Criminal justice reform is so badly needed in this country.

I went from styled, to just using style as much as possible, to finally using tailwind. It's a wonderful development experience, and I hardly ever need to go beyond it. Can't recommend it enough, it makes developing quicker and

You'll make way more money in the long run if you own up to mistakes like this. It builds trust in your company, so that when they think about renewing their contract they remember you have integrity and aren't trying to rip them

Well written tests make refactoring a breeze. Poorly written tests make refactoring nigh impossible, and usually don't contribute to anything other than code coverage metrics. Focus on quality, not quantity.

I honestly don't know why people are resisting these sort of changes so much. I think it's due to Parkinson's law of triviality. It's so easy for people to have an opinion on this, when I would rather change the offendi

I think I dislike the new repo view because the two main columns are reversed from what my brain thinks they should be. Did a quick jumble of the html and css to things I would prefer: https://imgur.com/a/1HEROxa Not

I agree that companies tend to over hire. My company certainly does, which leads to things taking much more time they would with less folks (and often more buggy). It's the age old problem of throwing engineers at things thinking it&

I'm interested in why you feel that way about Netflix. I've been digging into their source code and it's a complicated beast, with flags such as `isGreekAndSafari`. Beyond that, they have to deal with all the random busines

I just want to point out that you're wrong to say these places "didn't do anything". Or rather, I would contend that they did do something, aka nothing, which is what led to this situation. "First, I must confess t

Yeah, that's the same way I've gone about getting raises. And like you, I don't have a bad relationship with the company I'm at. Even if I do end up leaving, I think they'd be happy to work with me again in the fut

This isn't how I've seen it work out where I work. Anytime someone expresses they're going to leave, my company bends over backwards (sometimes too much to be honest) to try and make them happy. I think it all depends on how
