This was a pre-internet email like platform designed back in the 80s that never made it to public release, it sounds like it had a lot of the retro features the HN crowd loves!

Id argue there isnt an equivilency between an LLM and direct dumping the data straight into a book, theres a significant layer of abstraction there from my understanding. It is entirely legal for you to read HN and paraphrase what you learn

Id argue that people are literally a finite resource by virtue of being organic matter. Its just unkind to point such out from my understanding.

Its more of a principal thing than anything else. My experiences in healthcare IT/INFOSEC combined with all the blatantant anti-consumer behavior of a lot of these different equipment manufacturers have left a bitter taste in my mouth.

As a recently diagnosed type 1 im really concerned about adopting a pump system out of security concerns. Is there a way to disable wirelss communication when not in use on the pumps?

How will scraping rules be enforced just out of curiosity? It seems like that would be a very hard thing to prove in some cases.

As someone who has been a daily active 4chan user for atleast a decade, that kind of verbiage seems very extreme when describing HN in context.

Imo theres also a problem with solving "tedious labor" in that you will start displacing workers with automation at a rate the employment market cannot compensate for.

Id argue any violence used to create a sensation of fear in order to coerce specific behavior. When the system itself is also a source of coercion I guess violence against the system can be justified if you're reacting to a threat to y

WARNING: RANTY STREAM OF CONCIOUSNESS ESSAY AHEAD I just recently started building FOSS in this space in stealthmode, things are not looking good long term. Animatronics as an artform are facing extinction. There are VERY few people in the

In the wake of all the fun in the comments already, id like to leave a quote for you all. "If you need violence to enforce your ideas, your ideas suck."

You say that, but its my parents who are the ones still clinging to social media out of the rest of my immediate family. Thsts entirely anecdotal of course, but I think phrasing it as an issue of the newer generstions doesnt encapsulate the

Unfortunately, I personally dont think the average person is that capable of self regulation at this point. Social media culture has become a cornerstone for genz and late millenials, and is designed to make these dark patterns work on you

I mean sick doesn't mean dying IMO, just dealing with a myraid of issues. The fact that we've even had nuclear war as a real potential threat in recent history is arguably a symptom of some global illness. That level of discourse

I would actually argue that disinformation is only thiz level of effective when a society is already sick. Its alot easier to point to whats falling apart to back up your argument, than it is to build a intricate web of shadowy lies. I gues
