I'm a fullstack developer and I started picking up more modern frontend frameworks 3 months ago. Has this person try to manage a large complex site with just HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Jquery? It's a mess, a complicated mess.

Unfortunately, I'm aging, so I can't be a vampire. Thanks for sharing. From a different perspective, your answer is beautiful. It tells me you love your kid very much. I hope things get better.

Once in a while I like to take walks with the intention of looking at the world with wonder. If I'm hiking I look around at all the trees and leaves as if I'm seeing it for the first time. If I'm in the city I look at all the

There seems to be a few comments on survivorship bias and luck. I want to address those. While, yes it takes a lot of luck to be at the pinnacle of success. Their advice shouldn't be discounted. No one lucks their way to the top of the

Luck is uninteresting to focus on. I undoubtedly believe luck influences many things. The majority of who I am is dependent on "luck." My gender, my parents, the country I live in, my childhood growing up, and even the name I iden

You can learn the basics of fitness and a healthy diet in a week. These are things that will improve your life in every way (mentally, physically, and financially). However, it is one of those things that is easier to learn than to apply.

Replace them with good habits. It's actually almost impossible to eliminate habits. Especially long-standing ones. The best you can do is avoid the cue or change the routine. I highly suggest reading "The Power Of Habit" or &

Try making it a habit(Cue, Routine, Reward). After 3 decades on earth, I finally feel like I have a decent sleeping habit. Two things that worked for me, having a consistent schedule and creating a cue/trigger associated with sleep. I

It's totally okay not to have a "thing". In other words, not to specialized. Know the pros and cons of it though. Also, as a few other people point it out. Part of it is branding. Peter Thiel touches on it in this great inter
