Hey, not interested in applying for a job but would love to talk with someone on the engineering team about how the product works. I'm starting a blog about source code (already got a few gists up at https://gist.github.com&

I would also say the ease at which existing code can be changed (even if the end result is worse) doesn't help. It's much harder for a zealous engineer to overhaul the design of a bridge than it is for a new programmer to refactor

Do it. I recently started writing gists ( https://gist.github.com/CarlMungazi ) about the stuff I'm learning whilst reading through the source code of a framework I use at work. I'm not expecting to understand every

I'm improving my JS skills by learning how to read and understand the source code of mithril.js.org (I'm doing write ups at: https://gist.github.com/CarlMungazi ). It's what we use internally at work so it mad

JS/Mithril.js - love its relative simplicity and easy to navigate codebase.

I would hazard a guess and say the market is probably there for publications covering beats that have fans/readers passionate enough to spend money.

I think, on a local level at least, this kind of model is the way to go for most hard-pressed local and regional news outfits.

Nice. Being able to squat or deadlift your bodyweight and more is definitely a good sign.

Interesting approach (and a good idea). Have you found any negatives with operating this kind of system?

Out of interest, what are your PBs on bench, deads and squats?

The exercises I do on Mon + Weds take care of my shoulders and arms. Abs, depending on how tired I am + time, I do at the end of the session. I was 65kg last year and now I'm about 83/84. It helps that my trainer is an ex-bodybuil

Mithril ( https://mithril.js.org ) is my choice. It's React-like but very simple (10 minutes to learn about components, routing and XHR) and has a smaller footprint.
