Eh, I feel like Colorado draws more people from the east coast than from California. Winters here scare off a lot of lifelong Californians, but they will be a piece of cake for anyone coming from the northeast.

The other explanation is that being a 'moderate' drinker correlates with being able to do things in moderation in general, which is predictive of longevity.

Coloradoan here, my experience is that this law is pretty loosely enforced and many job postings don't comply, even for local, in-person positions (although it's getting better). Most "anywhere in the US" job postings do

Yes. In factory built home parlance, generally, a 'mobile' home is built to HUD building codes (which are the same nationwide) and is not considered a permanent residence - often time it stays on wheels even when put in place, and

I tend to think the abstinence rate would be much lower than with the vaccine. Cancer scares people in a way that COVID doesn't. Many of the anti-vaxxers do not perceive COVID as a credible risk, so they let their contrarian/anti-

There are plenty of trees in Denver - and even more trees up in the mountains nearby where they can get 2x-4x that much snow in a year.

We're at the point where residential solar is expensive not because it's solar, but just because hiring a contractor to do anything in any growing metro area is unreasonably expensive.

If it's clear to both parties a new hire isn't going to work out, it's in the company's best interest (as well as the employee's) for the employee to move on ASAP rather than sticking around for a one year cliff.

Switching costs are very high, so the bar for keeping customers just happy enough to not switch is very low. In addition, the people buying the software are often not the ones using it, so optimizing end-user satisfaction is not a priority.

Similarly, I've been putting Lutron Caseta smart switches on some of my more frequently used light switches, and I use the convenience of turning the lights on or off from the couch or bed _way_ more than I thought I would.

The states will draw new district maps based on the new census data for each state, as well as accounting for any seat gains or loses. The rules for drawing those maps differ from state to state. In the states that lose a seat, it depends.
