I liked Windows 7 too but XP is something I will never forget. It literally felt like XP was decades ahead of 98SE when it came out. Loved it, even though I had to reinstall it weekly for neighbors and family members due to Blaster. The ins

Let’s add an accelerometer and gyroscope and then we can install Quake there and play by simply moving or tapping the cable. The future is now, old man.

That’s hilarious. EU: everyone has use USB-C now. Apple: hold my beer. As much as I loathe "late stage capitalism" - the USB-C was a wrong choice from the very beginning.

Where is this VC money going though? There’s more money on the markets than ever, billionaires are richer than ever etc.

Cheat yourself. I’m not a fan of gym myself, I’m also a terrible swimmer but I love water and found out I can easily backstroke for an hour at a time and this is fun. Even tho I can barely swim any other style (working on it!). I hate runni

Vine was so much better than Instastories and TikTok. Oh the old days when the content was created for fun not for profit by professional influencers…

That is odd, what exactly were you looking for? In my case Google results are still top notch. Sometimes I search for SO question every X years and I’m always able to find it easily.

But out of those millions how many are Google material or can be decent devs by western standards? From my experience the working culture of India stays in direct opposition to the working culture of the US. So even the best devs might be o

Super impressive. Any idea how it’s done? Like he fixed a bug where GTA crashed sometimes when X happened. How do you reverse engineer that? Also does he have to do all this in Windows as the games are Windows only? I’m just curious how do

Im 34 and in the same boat. I try to hit the swimming pool 3 times a week at least, preferably during my “lunch hours” and it changes everything. Couldn’t go for the last 2 weeks and I feel like I’m 85. Not sure where it comes from.

As a heavy Fujifilm user I can recommend Capture One. It’s much cheaper than Lightroom and there’s actually free version for Fuji’s raws. I’ve tried many other apps and they all seemed really weak compared to Lightroom. This one is still no

And I’m simply scared. How do you even prepare for such an event? I always saved up, invested, but now I feel like it’s all pointless as I’m losing money on every front and savings aren’t that fun with double digit inflation…

Funny fact: I’m a totally different person speaking English (I’m not a native English speaker). Much more outgoing, confident and extrovert. It’s been like that since I was a kid. I think I might even like my English-self more than the actu

As a side note your chances of developing costochondritis are much higher if you’re using multi display setup, especially with only two screens. Got that, moved to 1x32”, never looked back. Not sure if it will ever heal fully at this point

I’ve tried Signal multiple times but after Telegram it’s like moving from Facebook to MySpace from 2004. No, thank you. I’m kinda surprised people are not annoyed by Signal or WhatsApp and keep using them, to me they’re simply unbearable.

In general $800 after taxes is the bare minimum for juniors in Warsaw. But yeah, gamedev... Experienced devs can get up to $5000-$6000 after taxes but I know of a few making even more. The thing is you can rent a studio for $300-$400 and fo
