Im 34 and in the same boat. I try to hit the swimming pool 3 times a week at least, preferably during my “lunch hours” and it changes everything. Couldn’t go for the last 2 weeks and I feel like I’m 85. Not sure where it comes from.
- dvlsg 4y agoBeing able to work out over my lunch hour is easily one of the best parts of working from home for me. I suppose it was technically possible while working in an office, but such a hassle. Always resulted in losing some workout time around the edges, too.
- roflyear 4y agoMust be nice. WFH for us meant that you have calls scheduled from 10am to 2pm. I think for the new year I'm going to block off 12-1:30 every day and absolutely step away from my desk.
- gameman144 4y agoRecurring time blocks like this have been an absolute game-changer for me, I'd highly recommend it! An hour in the morning and an hour-and-a-half around lunch have made it so much easier to stay sane, and provide nice cover to decline meetings by pointing to a calendar conflict.
