Alexandr Wang is 23 years old and he became tech lead at Quora 7 years ago (?!). I assume the guy has been pulling 90 hour workweeks since age of 12 or something. Just wait for your first RSI my young friend, and then we will talk again ;)

When we were young and poor I got my wife HP 2200D for $40. It was in 2010, the printer was already really old and beat. Since then it has printed roughly 200 000 pages for her and God knows how many before we got it. The C4096A toners are

How about relocating or going fully remote with company from overseas? I feel like US market is 10x more demanding than European.

I wrote a few huge class component-based Apps in React and they were working like charm and were very maintainable even for junior programmers. A few days with Redux and development was as easy as in jQuery days. Then we hired a few front-e

Apple puts so much pressure on security, shouldn't it be possible to block ransomware somehow on the OS level, possibly on all platforms? I mean not many apps need to modify millions of files on all drives including network drives and

I'm wondering what's the ratio of IT folks to "others" in Airbnb, I suppose most of the workforce is customer service, human resources, legal and so forth? So maybe this cut won't touch engineering teams at all? Aft

I love Linux for what it is, for the whole idea, being open, free and "democratic" but I tried using it while my Macbok was in service and oh boy, it's like having a Hackintosh 10 years ago, for work it was bearable but for &

You have to spend less than half a year in your home country to lose its tax residency AND you have to spend over 6 months in some other country. This applies for most if not all European countries: https://europa.eu/youreur

Once they move all products to the ARM (is it even possible? I mean Apple is Apple but they can’t put as much effort into CPUs as Intel or AMD - take a look at the latest Ryzens for example :o) will it kill Hackintoshes?

Sometimes I wonder how many people use Macs mainly in clamshell mode. I’ve been doing this for the last 10 years or so because working on a laptop is a huge ergonomy antipattern and Apples keyboards are famous for giving RSI.
