The coke is diet, and the hot chocolate is only 30 kcals/mug, so I don't drink many kcals, easily less than 200kcals/day. But yes I used to be pretty overweight, but I've lost a hell of a lot in the last year. That's one of the reasons I st

On the average day: • 2x extra strong coffees with sugar (still dislike it really, too sour, but it wakes me up.) • ~1-2 litres of Coke and/or other fizzy drinks (my addiction) • 1-2 Hot chocolate (at night) • ~4x litres of water, sometimes

Speaking of which, I wonder how much time developers worldwide waste by having to manually click OK on alert windows to continue execution? I much prefer console.log();

I really need to get a new computer, a 2006 MBP only has a 2GB limit! And I'm currently using 95% of it...as well as a 1.76GB swap. Though getting a new computer (Mac) is easier said than done, I definitely can't afford one anytime soon. Pu

Peacekeeper: http://service.futuremark.com/peacekeeper As I said, it's very rough, but seems to be a good indication of where abouts browsers are in comparison to each other. Though, once you get to a certain point (around 2x IE7, I'd say

Is there any real reason for the body and html close tags (and head for that matter), other than to fit in with the rest of the syntax? Like something you'd want to put after the body, but still within the html tag? <html> &

The photo is a little misleading, as it's from when she was around 3 years old. She is in fact aging physically (albeit slowly), just maintaining an infant size. This is her at 16: http://a.abcnews.com/images/2020/ht_DSC_0098_090619_ssh.jp

Am I the only one who's a little disappointed by the fact that this has got to the top of the front page of HN? Just seems more Reddit-esque to me...

Homosexuality was illegal in many parts of the world at the time, and it was believed to be morally incorrect by citizens (in most cases), just like how the majority of people see cannabis as a very harmful drug today. So if anything, it sh

You should probably do it in US dollars rather than British sterling. Firstly because more people know dollars, but also because it's a higher number, which I'd think would attract more answers; £10 vs $16…only to Britons would they seem th

Sleep. I've pulled tons of all nighters…but I only do it if I honestly don't want/need sleep. I get far, far more done in 10 hours than I would in 20. Don't lengthen your working hours, optimize them.
