We usually perceive Swiss German as a different language too and not just a dialect. We usually do learn High German before attending school tho, it's not as a foreign language in school. I do remember an unfortunate situation during a

That did sound interesting at first, but my native dialect Franconian [1] also has an ISO 639-3 language code (vmf) and while the pronounciation from high german differs, the words and grammar are basically identical (with very few exceptio

Mercedes is actually known for their engine longevity, reliability and serviceability. Yes they have more issues with technology than other cars, but that's because they use more and newer technology than cheaper brands. [1] [1] https

Why not link to the source directly at Mercedes [1]? The website has only added marketing to the information available in the video from the original site. I honestly thought this is satire until I saw it from the source, but this is actual

And I explicitly mentioned that I can't charge at home and regularly travel over 500km. Also I can't expect there to be a charger at my destination. It was an answer to the blatantly phrased "i don't understand" of

The bigger problem is actually the one he just mentioned on the side. Most places you are legally not allowed to add charging stations to your rented place. It's not just the landlord giving permission, it goes on with billing. This st

I was actually surprised by most sources I found online. But all top hits on Google start off at the charger and ignore any efficiency losses for generating the electricity in the first place. Some even acknowledge that fact in text, but st

My understanding could definitely be off here, but according to the official EU energy report (2018 report, 2016 numbers) [1] France is still consuming about 45% of fossil fuels, while whole Europe is around 70%. Further the energy network

Or the fuel used by ECU engines gets created from the CO2 in the air and carbon neutral energy. Seems easier to achieve than replacing all cars with low range models that need a charging spot at home. And the EV also only make a difference,

Even if that would be the case and we use the long scale (million/milliard/billion) system, which I actually grew up with in Germany, a billion would be 10^12 and a septillion 10^42. It still doesn't add up.
