I didn't get that he was hinting at that. The problem is what Apple thinks is significant to the platform when they develop it versus when it's an outside developer.

Your definition of 'monopoly' is not helping your argument. Apple controls a very big portion of the handheld market and that portion is completely roped off by iTunes. Worse, if they see something they are doing, whether it'

These are completely valid use cases. I think the problem with Siri is that it was billed as some insanely useful tool that would radically change how you use your phone. Obviously it's limitations outweigh it's strengths.

Apparently the plant poisoning in the movie (and postulated in the book) weren't correct. If you read the Wikipedia on McCandless[1] research into how he died has made it clear that it was just plain old rabbit starvation[2]. [1] http://e

I was originally going to post something similar about the Tim Ferris name drop and you beat me to it. I also don't get the point. His credentials seem very irrelevant to the app. I would rather see the names of the doctors who's researc

I had a similar idea to this about a year back and didn't get out of the feasibility stage. After crunching the numbers I just couldn't make it work as a free service. Maybe I wasn't doing it right, but the bandwidth of attachments become

As an American, I don't seem to understand Canadian currency at all. I've watched 'Love It or List It' on HGTV knowing that it's a Canadian show but the prices of the houses are all typically anywhere from $700k-$900k for 1600 to 1800 squa

Oh man, the Atari 5200. I'd almost forgotten. We didn't have a 2600 but my folks got duped into the 5200 being 'the next big thing'. I guess I should be grateful, without that failure my folks wouldn't of had a reason to buy the Commodor

I'll be honest, I don't understand the logic I need to get through the truth-teller/liar test since it isn't quite clear what I'm allowed to do. If you just want me to do a ton of embedded if/else statements, meh, I've lost interest. If th

There are plenty of small to medium sized business where you get to learn and have an impact. I tend to favor those - I have the autonomy to contribute without the overhead of 6 different managers.

But coming to SF and floundering around is no better than aimlessly moving to LA to become a movie star. Not to be nit-picky but getting start-up experience isn't quite the same as going to casting calls while working at Olive Garden to m

I care little what timber companies do with the land we gave them last century. But if they're cutting down OUR trees on OUR land, then they have to replant that acreage. If they can't do that profitably, then too bad. There is no right to
