These are all defaults and you are forced to use them, right? Furthermore - does this really help the argument that "the whole ms stack sucks balls" or even "the whole java stack..."?

So, you should be able to show me dozens of tools that are the default choice within these ecosystems, that make programmers build things in this way. Can you please name some tools and tell us how they say this is the right way to do thing

That's great, but we're here to make fun of "Enterprise" programming and anything associated with it. Now you come along and give us this simple example that works. I bet it would still be better in Javascript or Ruby because those are the

"in my head I went, this is why the whole ms enterprise stack sucks balls." Brilliant. So, if some random programmer built some way-over-complicated Javascript solution, would you think that the entire web platform "sucks balls"? "the sa

The existence of the JIDF and other similar organizations that have the explicitly stated goal of flooding Internet conversations with pro-Israel comments, would make the argument self evident.

It's a valid complaint. At the very least, you can say that many of the problems associated with using HTML for apps stem from the fact that it was originally designed for documents, not apps.

I'd say 1) The people who use the Internet the most...are too dependent upon the system. They haven't the time or energy for a proper protest.

TortoiseGit supports them both. Even if none of them did...anemic? Really? I didn't think I was assuming; it was fairly self evident to me, based on the amount of hyperbole being too damn high.

Do you have some evidence for your claim that graphical clients tend to cause problems when interacting with other people? Does one missing feature really make them anaemic? I understand the git system just fine, I've worked with many other

Sure, but they do like 99% of what everybody working with git does every day. So, do we still need to be "weaned" or can we just add some features to the GUI clients if and when necessary?

You're comparing graphical git clients to toy hammers? Really? That's awfully interesting. Please, tell us more about that analogy.

Why would people need to be "weaned" off of a graphical client towards a command line? Is it a specific client or all of them? Maybe I'm misunderstanding your sentiment - are you one of those people who thinks that all GUIs are for children

You should really try to see the issue from the point of view of someone who simply doesn't want to be locked into Apple's walled garden, or who doesn't like the way Apple does things. When I can get the same hardware without any software r

You can't say it's a myth when it's based on opinion. If people have the opinion that iProducts are overpriced, then they are because "overpriced" is completely subjective. Simple as that. There's no myth, but the fact that you're tired of

What a bunch of hogwash. Everything does not fit into the request/response model of HTTP and the Internet is certainly the web.

FTA: "Throughout this article I reference HTML5, but I’m actually talking about most of the suite of relevant standards..." I think a lot of people conversationally use the term HTML to mean the same thing.
