I don't care about initial spit and shine. Really I don't. As soon as Chrome came out I downloaded it and used it even when it didn't have Adblock. But Blogger has been out for a looooong time.

If getting it done was the only objective then why isn't Blogger just a web server that people can FTP self written HTML files to? Blogger has a lot of paper cuts that slowly make it either unbearable to use or unsightly to visit. It takes

Ok, so you freely admit that there are (probably) things that are wrong with it if you looked hard enough. ...So why isn't it better? EDIT TO ADD: You know, this is really part of the bigger problem. Google has a fair amount of side service

I like Google as a company and I love their products (As much as you can love a tool), but jesus how can he work there and use Blogger? It's such a piece of crap.

I've used Wordpress on two projects and it took me only 3 days to get fed up with it. It's like having an entire Home Depot when you just need a tool box. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I started with Ruby, and Python, so I like open and clear reading/writing, but even Ruby/Python tends to lay it on thick. It's like the developers think they have to add all this syntax just to be popular. define fib_seq with (x,y)

Programming in Java and C/C++ feels like putting my balls in a vice, personally. No language is perfect (Mostly because languages tend to copy from C/C++ or Java (See: Go)), but damn do those two make it hard.

Man it's always so crazy to see how big/well designed Rails sites are compared to Ruby sites.

Hmm, I might do this with a ruby script, except pull random images from WikiCommons with the exact size specified. (And color!)

My point was that the laws don't even hamper countries the law's implementor doesn't like. They just hamper a very few select people.

You don't think that's a learning experience either? People in the tech, and geek community, are stubborn mother fuckers. You have to have a badass debate skill to get even the most obvious ideas into people's heads. Simply being right do

Debating which language was best is how I learned to program better, notice flaws easier, and simply argue my case more efficiently.
