I find it hard to understand how we can be justified spending so much money and effort trying to find the wreck. What is there to gain? The only benefits I see are: - Giving family members (maybe a few thousand people) closure. - Understand

I think it's regressive because people with less income spend a larger proportion of their income on gas. I disagree with him; for the record. Just trying to see his viewpoint. Personally—I think this tax is a great idea. I think the g

Well, to be fair, Color did not make anyone any money. The company sold in a fire-sale for less than the amount raised; and the only thing that founders / employees likely got out of it was a mediocre retention bonus. Not to mention, t

I highly recommend that anyone who has yet been able to make it to the Tsukiji fish market does so before its demise later this year. It's a truly incredible place, and the Sushi holes there are the most incredible fish you'll eat

For what it's worth; really cool product! I wonder if you could get hooked up with some language schools or teachers so that they'd use it for homework assignments.

Is the "donor-advised fund" mentioned here similar to a "charitable remainder trust?" If so, this may just be a very astute tax planning strategy.

I think that PG's point is that without economic inequality there is zero opportunity. So, I'd say that unequal opportunity is better than nonexistent opportunity. (This is an over-simplification.)

Actually, his example works either way. Imagine this: - $110k + 5k options, with 5M shares outstanding, at a strike price of $1 / share. - $100k + 3k options, with 1M shares outstanding, at a strike price of $0.01 / share Both are

The EB-1 is a the immigration petition that gets you the green card. Getting approved for the EB-1 is how you get that green card. The green card is a two-step process: first, you apply for an I-140; this is the EB-1. Second, if approved, y
