The irony here, is that an F35 has a max range of ~1,380 miles by comparison, though obviously an F35 can do in-flight refueling.

I don't want to get into a measuring competition, but is there a military that does logistics better than the US? I mean this very seriously and not at all in a jingoist way. Look at how fast the US went from Kuwait to taking Baghdad i

This is not new. As an example, the US Department of Homeland Security has been known to use Web of Science to help them identify foreign born researchers working in the US tied to their home country militaries.

Hermit crabs will absolutely use a plastic bottle top and it’s really adorable. My aunt had two “pet” hermit crabs when I was a kid. Really cool little creatures to play with and love on.

As much as it’s frustrating as they’ve both pretty good at this, it makes sense. National defense supply chains should not be dependent on potential adversaries.

Chains are for snow. They’ve got nothing to do with clearance. You mentioned unplowed roads. If that also includes mountains you tend to use chain. Get over yourself buddy. The level of arrogance is astounding.

70mph is the upper end of the sweet spot for Tesla distance driving. I lived in Chicago for a decade and had a Model 3 for the majority of that (purchased it in 2018 new). From our house in Chicago to our family's house in Kentucky, it

Iceland has 41% EV adoption, and I'm pretty sure they have more snow than anywhere in the US (perhaps only comparable to Alaska).

The irony here is that even the not so great American space programs, like the two you mentioned, are still leagues ahead of most of the rest of world’s space programs. Also, the SLS launch that’s happened was flawless. Sure the thing is ex

The NACS standard still only supports single phase power. It was the electrician who installed my home charger that said it is why they weren't in Europe homes.

So there is actually a technical reason here. NACS isn't a thing in Europe because 3 Phase power is much more common in Europe. NACS does not support 3 Phase power, and as a result, is not that common in Europe.
