That’s entirely your problem. And sure, your listing may be doing “great” now, but what if Airbnb change the rules as they may start looking at doing? Sounds to me that your model may not be sustainable in the medium to long term. Life’s fu

First off: https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/travel/airbnb-has-a-plan-... And secondly if you reread my post you’ll see that I think it’s morally wrong to charge a cleaning fee AND expect guests to clean as well.

You don’t think the subject of this story isn’t a change of their rules and regulations?

Be honest and build the fee into your rates. Why do you not do that? What is your rationale for charging it separately?

Er, because they can. And do. As evidenced by the recent changes. The point is, you should either charge cleaning costs and not require the customer to do anything other than leave it in a “used” state - or - not charge cleaning costs but r

Give it time. I'd not be surprised to read that Air BnB are going to curtail this behavior next. The only reason you're doing this is to game the system. Be honest and charge more.

I find that abhorrent myself. What YOU pay for your cleaners is up to you. Stop nickel and dimming your customers - if you charge a cleaning fee then there's zero moral rights in my mind that you have to ask customers to also clean. Ju

That was my first “work” computer. Came with MS-DOS 2.11 IIRC. Spent many an happy hour with it putting together various DB applications using Delta IV - a hierarchical database system.

“Please don't use HN primarily for promotion. It's ok to post your own stuff part of the time, but the primary use of the site should be for curiosity.” This is the 7th submission in 16 days you’ve made about this…

Given how they’ve treated Evernote, I’d highly doubt it. They seem to operate on the model of purchase, fire and profit. Recently each acquisition seems to have followed the same pattern where they buy a company, raise prices, and fire exis

Skitch was brought by Evernote damn near 10 years ago. Bending Spoons brought Evernote a few years ago and gutted the entire US based staff. I’d consider Skitch to be absolutely and permanently dead.

Is there now native control for Worktrees with Rider (or any of the JB Tools for that matter)? I tried Worktrees a couple of years ago but not having any integration with them with Rider led me to walk away.

If you go that route, sure. I however upgraded my v3 to v4 for $75.00 late last year. No ongoing subscription for me.

Our renewal got Shanghaied by an extremely greedy and over zealous sales rep who injected himself between us and our renewals reps, and wanted to turn a sub $80k renewal into damn near $200k this year and $300k next. Needless to say it got

Cold emails, messages and calls have become the new evil that makes everyone else’s life a misery. It used to be that account managers would work hard to ensure their target list was fit for purpose. Now the only criteria is “did we get it

This has nothing to do with hacking and everything to do with the ghost touch issues that apparently affect multiple Series 9 and Ultra 2 users (although I’ve not seen it on my series 9 myself). Way back in the early days of Android (pre Ic

Well, if Tesla’s anything to go by, Musk is probably doing this to grab more money. The Delaware courts recently slapped his gargantuan pay demand down, guess he feels that Texas will let it ride and he’ll get his billions that way.
