Is there now native control for Worktrees with Rider (or any of the JB Tools for that matter)? I tried Worktrees a couple of years ago but not having any integration with them with Rider led me to walk away.

I'm not sure unfortunately. I vastly prefer directory-centric SCM over project-centric.
