I don't work in the space but my intuition tells me that the problems are mainly hardware related. These technologies have a lot of promise but are currently limited by the state of the art. My personal opinion is that neither of these

Does Palantir actually do anything AI related? I interviewed there and the impression I got was that they make a flashy frontend for analysis of data from disparate sources. Not sure where the perception that they are some AI powerhouse com

So we have 3 categories that mean "has not banned", and 1 category that actually means "banned". What on earth does "on the fence" mean? How is "unlikely to ban" any different from "using Huawei&

Am I the only one who doesn't see what's so creepy about this? It's a bunch of colors, and cars being dipped into the colors, with dumb music and sfx. Is it really so harmful? Honestly curious as I don't have kids of my

Beside the point, but IMO, all podcasts should have a transcription option as well. I unfortunately just don't have the attention span to listen to hours of people talking, but put it in text format and I have zero issues.

Hate to say this, but IMO the game will never be fixed. The game that was marketed, and the game I was excited for, featured " the most immersive open world game to date". But the game isn't immersive at all, it is nothing m

Yeah, this is where I'm at too. Whenever I see any story from WaPo or NYT I refuse to click. The lies and blatant propaganda are just too much for me. My values have shifted quite a bit in the last year, with the rise of the crazy canc

So not caring is now a form of racism? Trying to tune out the news and live my life means I am racist? I think 1. you need to get a grip on reality, 2. you need to look up some violent crime statistics, and 3. you need to look up the homici

You may think you are helping by supporting these moves and empathizing with those who are offended, but I truly believe it has the opposite effect. Is it really worth saving some thin skinned people from offense if it pisses off enough peo

Dude, if US companies want to engage in this woke nonsense, then I quite frankly think they deserve to be cancelled. This country is honestly so pathetic, IMO, in the way that we pretend to be a "free speech" nation and yet in rea

Your definition of objectionable isn't my definition of objectionable. There was once a time when having a thick skin was lauded. Now, it seems we are in a race to pander to the most thin skinned people around.
