I didn't ask why they didn't "think" about it a couple years early. I asked why they would make it a priority 10 years out.

Eyeglasses are relevant because you're talking about "wearable" devices that are worn in a place where most of us are already wearing something. The fact that this isn't obvious helps explain all your other blind spots o

Yet another article where Apple gets recklessly tossed in and combined with the real bad actors in this field, even though the article then fails to cite even a single breach or privacy issue or anti-privacy stance taken by Apple. Worse, th

One of the many glories of The Mandalorian is Herzog's role. And if you haven't seen Fitzcarraldo, put down your computing device and go watch that movie instead.

64% of US adults wear eyeglasses. Heat exists. We're already basically at the limits of physics for making CPUs faster and heat dissipation is a huge issue even for products that you don't have pressed against your face and eyes a

Your math isn't very good. Maybe at least make sure you are within an order of magnitude, next time, especially when it's so very Googlable. You're saying 20 schools have experienced shootings, total, ever? Nope. There have b

If it helps, it's really ok; the German title is "An die Freude". This was the title of Schiller's poem, and it's also the title of the final choral movement of Beethoven 9. So the usage is correct. It's right

Regulations have not "increased across the board". Obviously. We had an assault weapons ban in the US, for a while, under Clinton. It worked. We should still have it. The solution is to ban assault weapons, outright, and then inst

Please spend 15 seconds looking up what "the left" is actually arguing for before speaking in public about it. Because you appear to not have any idea. Hint: it's what 92-96% of the US public consistently agrees with. Backgro

No. The vast majority will NOT find another way. There's a reason 99.8% of this stuff is done with guns. AR-15s, to be specific, or something very similar. It's because that's what is easy. These people aren't geniuses.

Who said anything about replacing devices annually? Could we at least argue honestly and in good faith? iPhones and iPads are very easily good for, at a minimum, three to four years of very heavy use before any battery replacement would be

This may be the gripe of your particular highly-skilled niche of the right-to-repair movement, but wide swaths of said movement are agitating for products to be wholly redesigned in the ways they prefer, to aid in much easier repairs. Never
