The bid thing is awesome I have received upgrades too. The airline would of course tell you your odds are 1% for $$$ reasons, buy for some routes, the minimum bid is all it takes. I fly CMB-DOH-AMS a lot, and the CMB route is pretty much gu

I switched to my first Fingerprint phone a year ago, and I can't imagine going back to passcode unlocking for convenience reasons. Which is the most secure? It depends on the threat model. With an NFC sensor, I suppose it should be pos

I go to Oktoberfest (Munich) every year, and for a beer festival with hundreds of thousands drunk people in crowded tents and all-cash transactions, it is an amazingly safe place.

Not OP, but I have so e experience particularly in Zurich. English is widely spoken by a majority of the people you'll be working with, but some sort of basic German can go a very long way. Compared to other cities like Paris or Stras

I'm not vouching for Brave, but this browser is doing exactly that with Google. Safe Browsing APIs can be easily cached at a proxy. However, I suppose China has rules against that and wants Safe Browsing requests made directly to tence

Not the OP, but password management and syncing in Firefox is a bit clunky. I use and love the send to device feature and password syncing (I use FF as my main drive for desktop and mobile), but they are quite slow compared to Chrome. I get

I like Chrome's approach to DoH. If the local DNS server is capable of DoH, then, and only then, Chrome switches to DoH. It is the safest choice to make, since if you are querying that name server, they have your data anyway, so you mi

One feature that probably doesn't get enough praise is the groups. You can create groups, and nested sub groups within. This helps us a lot to separate projects into smaller groups. Sub groups inherit access and keys from their parent

As much as we like to think that we don't have to pay for premium domains, they still do have a good reason to purchase.. Not all TLDs are treated equally. Think of this yourself: would you trust URLs with .xyz or .to? Those domains ar

I disagree with this. Chrome's Omni bar, and even newer Firefox addressbar encourage the use of search engines, and I have never seen someone type "bestgloves.com". At worst, they search for Gloves on their favorite seller

A single severe mistake can result the CA being kicked out, but CAs like Symantec were too big to fail, so browser vendors had to spend time and effort to kick them out. There is CT logs of course. Even if the certs were issued by error or
