That's incredible, is that really what the revenue split with Amazon looks like? I'm familiar with Lulu.com, and their standard ebook split gives 80% after the first $0.99 to the author. They even have a special going on right now giving 9

Agreed - if testling/browserling are not positioned for functional testing, I'm sorry for not catching on to that. In my defense, you could easily market it as a functional testing tool (sort of how Selenium could support unit testing in t

I didn't see it mentioned, but I give a ton of credit to Bill Gates for convincing Warren Buffett (who he plays bridge with) to give his money to charity in his lifetime. AD isn't as bad as IE6, either. And I no longer blame MSFT for IE6 n

It's not fair to tie all criticism of rms to bullying. This whole dust-up appears to have been started by a reaction to a post by kottke in which it's not at all clear to me that rms is even being mocked. I'm not denying rms gets unfairly

The 2T bboe is likely talking about in place reserves, not recoverable reserves. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oil_reserves#Proven_reserves for a discussion of the definitions 'in place', 'proven', and 'probable'. Fracking is still a

How much oil is in off the East Coast passive margin? 20 bboe (which is twice the best estimates of MMS)? That would make it on par with the North Slope in Alaska, an elephant field. That's 3 years or less of US consumption, or about 7 m
