Switches are a beginner level solder job to replace. And because there's not much going on inside mice, it tends to be easy to get to the PCB that holds the switches.

(Sorry for the late response, I hadn't checked my replies all week) Companies in the US can put limits on consecutive vacation days. Both jobs I've had in the financial industry had a limit of 7 business days. While not impossible

There really need to be rules in place to prevent these ticking time bombs that are cheap devices with 0 safety considerations or QA from being brought onto planes.

The difference is that going forward, people will target the latest changes to Windows because the previous versions will decline in usage since they are seeing no more effort put in by MS. With a situation like Xorg vs Wayland people will

Yes! Don't neglect vacation time and be sure to take a proper vacation. None of this "I'll be gone but I'm still reachable" bullshit. Lie and say you won't have access to a computer if that's what it takes

I got into fountain pens for a while. One big problem with them is that you really need paper that's designed for them. A lot of common paper ends up wicking out the ink way too fast. But they are still pretty cool writing implements.

I've seen a lot of positivity on the output of ChatGPT for coding tasks in my workplace. And it does seem to have some use in that area. But there is just no way in hell it's replacing a human in its current state. If you ask it f
