It's very likely that there's a hardware issue. While it could be a driver bug, that's the kind of thing you would be able to easily find others with similar systems complaining about.

I see many comments in here saying it's obvious that a PIN can be brute forced. But it is absolutely NOT obvious that's the case because for a long time now we've had hardware like TPM and Secure Enclave. With that hardware,

It's a massive improvement over callbacks when using an event loop model too. I've worked with code that has an insane amount of nesting because it was written before async/await and instead had to pass in a callback every ti

I'm definitely going to give that a try. I had issues with the Bash script on macOS and was annoyed that it left me with a system that I had to manually clean up.

I'm surprised that Github stars are valuable enough to buy. Personally I never look at the star count because even if they were legit, they don't really tell me anything more useful than I get from looking at other things in the r

If you're really looking to optimize hash map performance, you should try Abseil's flat_hash_map. It's able to do some things that the standard library's maps cannot because it doesn't have to stick to the standard

The better solution is to host an internal package repository. It's pretty easy to package up a vendor library and publish it there.
