For my project I use eleventy with markdown and commit to github which then deploys on netlify. To make it very easy to navigate the documentation it's integrated with docsearch(algolia). All of this is free for open source projects.

I recently move to London. Whenever I post pictures of the river everyone points out how murky it looks. I was quite surprised to read that it's cleaner than how it looks. I always hear disbelief whenever I say it's cleaner than w

Congrats for turning 12! Starting using golang 6 years ago and it's been so easy maintaining our projects and upgrading to the latest versions. Cheers to the team.

Thanks for the references. Apologies for not explaining that well. I wasn't generalising about all patterns rather about using GoF patterns with a cookie cutter approach. Atleast, I am sure made that mistake.

Good design and OOP avoids using GoF patterns while coding for many reasons. One is that they do not map well to the domain and the other is they are difficult to TDD or test. They are really tough to use too if you plan to publish your lib

Great work, especially the comment navigation. I find it much easier to view the comment threads and scan top level comments.

+1 to the Amethyst and the Xmonad style tiling with where the focus is on a main area and there are options to switch windows to main aread and cycle layouts.

Glad to see this approach to testing, especially making sure the website is accessible. XPath and CSS selectors not ideal for testing as they tie the tests to the implementation of the page. Looking forward to using this.

Agree. Even with it's quirks, I found the trackball/trackpoint my earlier Thinkpads useful and ergonomic. Scrolling, clicking should be a part of the keyboard ergonomics design IMHO.
