The processor fan started up on my Macbook Pro 17" just like it does when I use Flash for more than 5 seconds. How ironical. :)

Interesting - we're in the same space but I don't think I know a single paying client of ours that actually reads our blog. Most of our readership comes from Hacker News and friends - it's a little like living in two worlds.

Pretty decent to use but may check out some of the other suggestions on here - bookmark organization leaves something to be desired, there's no auto complete of addresses, and given the keyboard centric navigation model, it would be nice to

Thank you. Not sure why pivotaltracker is getting so much love here for UI design? It might be a powerful bug tracker tool but for UI it should not be getting mention among some of these other beautiful and functional apps like wufoo.

Another resource here in the US is the Extension service: http://extension.org . This has been their goal online for awhile now - to provide peer reviewed material that is a "cut above" the stuff you'd find online. Kind of a cool transiti

This is exactly right. Until they see real damage from the decisions they're making in the form of lost revenue and non-record quarterly performances, why not take the strongest "negotiating" position possible. You can always back down late

Can you point to any research that says real money exchanges perform any better than the play money exchanges? Here's some saying just the opposite published by Wharton: http://bpp.wharton.upenn.edu/jwolfers/Papers/DoesMoneyMatter... - th

Not to go off topic or anything but is this kind of an unfortunate name? "Whitey" has pretty negative connotations here in the US anyway.

I don't care what you call it. Unless they have some sort of vision, they will continue to bleed good people and mind share until they are completely irrelevant. Cost cutting and efficiency gains are only going to get them so far. What will

What is the focus of Yahoo? What does it do? It grew up as a search and catalog company. Then it got in to content. Then mail. Then 50 other things. What is the unifying theme to all this? "Connecting people to content" could be anything. A

I think you might be right. Bootstrapping a start up is damn hard and damn stressful. And it takes a long time. As someone mentioned earlier, 37s is a 10 year old company that is now highly profitable, but it took a long time for them to ge
