That video is perfect. It answered every question I had and more. I'm shocked that Google is behind this. I would have thought the ROI would be a hard sell. It neat to hear how involved they are in space. Setting that up would be chall

You can repolish an acrylic top and it looks brand new. Most professionals should only take an hour or two to do it.

Engineered stone is easy to cut on site. Real cheap to work with that's why it beat Porcelain. I don't think Porcelain is as dangerous.

Why not use other materials? Modified acrylic or compact laminate? That will save lives.

I was helping to maintain an Adobe Flex system a few years back. It really sucks when your framework is simply obsolete like that. I don't know how to protect against that with the rate of change.

As someone in New Zealand that's crazy. The ping to Europe is terrible. To the point that video calls to the UK are painful.

F# is not Haskell at all. If you want to write non functional code you can. It's functional first but it has side effects, mutable variables and a host of features you get in other languages. I really recommend trying it.

Having recently started treating my sleep apnea the difference is startling. Being able to remember and think like this is unreal. I have no idea how I remained employed for so long in my previous state. Sleep quality is so important.

I maintain 3 servers. It's not worth automating the deployment. I'll spend less time just setting them up by hand. The company will survive a few hours of downtime.

I use NATS to create a secure pipe between buildings and the cloud. I don't need speed but I do need routing and I do need a security layer. Nats just works and took very little setup.
