Totally silly nonsense. Just don't press buttons in a way that hurts your hands. Literally exactly how you use the computer now.

I used htmx with Clojure and it was easy to mimic components as functions that return hiccup. I have a default middleware that converts it to html before sending it to the client unless I explicitly say it's a json route. (defn

I find myself in exactly the opposite situation. I'm currently a JS developer struggling to find any roles in Clojure I could migrate to.

I don't like taking my shoes off unless I'm relaxing. It's a physical reminder to do stuff. If I'm watching a show and I need to get up to do something, I'll put my shoes back on.

I didn't say pointless. I said boring. All the work I do has business value (at least, perceived business value) but I don't think it's fun or exciting to do. It bores me to death. Too much recently, actually. If the job

I felt dramatically more productive using bspwm (which is similar enough to i3) than I do on MacOS. I couldn't tell you how much of it was the M1 being relatively new, having a better/different OS, and a different WM. I just know

I routinely built slums in CS. It's mostly decorative, but you can add some functional slum elements like nearby pollution, bad/no schools, etc.

I have the opposite problem. Most business software is boring as hell, and I just want to have something cool to work with.

You're overthinking for sure, but I do the same thing. I try to write my update in a notebook every day, but especially when I'm feeling anxious.

I thought The Gay Science was much better than Zarathustra. I feel like I got a lot more insights out of it. If you go into Nietzsche with Zarathustra I think you'd be kinda confused about his whole schtick.

This is totally me. I love refactoring, simplifying and adjusting code to be easier to modify. I almost always refactor before adding features, since I can adjust the code to make my modifications easier to do.
