Well, wouldn’t that be a solution? The only real solution will be if we eat ourselves. Better one person eat another than two starve. Scale that. In fact I think there’s an market opportunity for a product that liquifies a person into sever

Get on a plane and just go to a real Apple store. Or mail it to me. The scratch sucks but that experience will be what you choose to make of it. I think you will stress and waste money and also lose your lawsuit. But it’s the time you’ll lo

It doesn’t change what they’re obviously trying to do. They haven’t deleted the user data, as you would expect perhaps from that contract spiel ^ but instead hold it as a reward for resubscribing. Holding the company's ability to opera

Really? Do you read the 40 page small print for any service you use? On every cloud service it says we can do whatever we want without liability, then establishes you can’t sue - arbitration only and then says take it or leave it

I’ve actually setup KeePassXC with the database file on a Syncthing share and it works perfectly. In fact it’s simpler than Lastpass their GUI is a mess, and more secure, and auto backups and works with every browser and updates in realtime

I think it shows that they’re aware their business model will fail soon to free and open source options, so they’re milking their remaining customers. Burning your users like this is a one way function

What’s outrageous is how they only hold 30 shared passwords but somehow billed us $1500 a year to use a browser plugin to serve 20 kilobytes of data to 12 people.

Lastpass just sent us a bill for $750 and unless we pay it they locked the whole company out of out shared password database and refuse to supply even chat or email support to discuss it

I want to see evidence of this on my Apple devices before jumping to conclusions. So far I’ve yet to see an ad period. Apple, the worlds largest company, may do many things.

You know it’s funny how you can buy the previous edition of most university textbooks for $5 on eBay but the latest edition often with an annoying introduction costs you a cool Grant. I built myself a huge library of about 70 textbooks sitt

You cite no evidence. I have the opposite experience first hand. Phone manufactures have been copying Apple since the iPhone because they have no sense of innovation whatsoever. The batteries are cheaply replaceable, just not as easily. But

Yes the lightbulb conspiracy and planned obsolescence. Here’s why that’s no longer a threat; it’s bad business. It’s a PR nightmare, and totally unnecessary. For instance my last (17 inch) MBP lasted a full decade including the battery with
