Latency between different availability zones in the same region is generally pretty good. "Over the last month, the median is 2.09 ms, 90th percentile is 20ms, 99.th percentile is 47ms. This is based on over 250,000 pings -- one every 10 s

Yea, the first angle in the video doesn't do it justice. On his blog, he states the entire thing is around 12 feet long. Incredibly impressive stuff, especially the programming needed to get the arm pickup to be so accurate. If you want to

Not specifically related to this article but Id like to give Ars major props for following all of the recent Anonymous actions so throughly. Their articles on HBGary were fantastic and they seem to be keeping up well.

Not really surprising, since CUDA isn't a major selling point for most potential customers. The Anandtech review goes into a little more detail: http://www.anandtech.com/show/4239/nvidias-geforce-gtx-590-d...

Sure, but basically every mobile processor "is just a customized version" of some ARM design. My point is that Apple goes out of their way to control the design/performance instead of taking an off the shelf TI/Qualcomm/NVIDIA etc chip
