Really poor equivocation re: 2-cyls. Engine performance and efficiency is one of the primary and critical aspects that define the ability effectively travel between places, which, again is the entire purpose of a car. Engine (drivetrain r

Sure, even that's a luxury, but cars already have a display for audio, and it makes sense to have an in-built nav system (would be great if you could simply select the mapping/nav software from a list like a: goog, b: apple, c: OS

Dude, what? First off, OpenBeta kinda sucks. It's slow, and honestly, has some pretty bizarre UX/UI decisions. MP is vastly more comprehensive and looking at my local areas it's clear he/she just scraped MP (or straight

> The problem is that most people want to go to a small number of very popular places. That is because they are the prettiest and most desirable destinations. This is unsurprising. People want to see Yosemite, not some barren nothingness

I once thought it would make more sense to have a calendar of 9 months of 8 weeks with 5 days per week (or 5wks * 8days) with a 5 day 'solstice period' at the end/beginning of every year (6 days every 4th year).

Ya know, I have a hard time finding sympathy for LSD users who have bad trips. I say this as someone who has quite enjoyed it in the past. People complaining about LSD, to me, sound like people complaining about being shot out of a cannon.

The other comment covered my thoughts mostly. Ecology is important. But I can't eat Blackfoot daisy. Not all gardens are there for ecosystem health. Some are for utilitarian purposes.

Same for you! Interestingly, contrary to you, my wife and I only ever gardened for produce. Didn't turn out that well with poor soil and drainage, but we tried. Wishing we had the space for it again at our current residence. And, of co

Really, I think it's just a consequence of living so long in what I consider an echo chamber. It's jarring to move back out of a huge, exceedingly left/liberal metro area into a much more politically mixed area. And yeah, as
