Right. Because nobody else will buy an iPhone if I don’t. As a developer, you can’t have a successful app and not be on the Apple app store. Anyway, even if neither of those were true, as human beings we certainly always have the right

That's the first time I ever got this answer. So basically - start the program again. This is the height of usability? How's that work for say...a program running in the menubar, like Docker? (If you open the Docker settings windo

I am looking at my MacBook Pro 2015 right now. There is no symbol for the alt key. You cannot control the entirety of macOS with just a keyboard. Simple example: open the About this Mac window. Now switch away from it with the keyboard. I c

Yeah Apple is woefully behind as I see it. The window management is clunky and backwards and the keyboard shortcuts being lauded here are too. They get even the simplest things wrong. Instead of labeling app menu items with a word or abbrev

Well, I guess Apple will continue being a 3rd rate gaming platform then. Fuck ‘em. People who want a good gaming platform have never wanted anything to do with Apple anyway. I’m glad that these games will not come to iOS. That means people

I run multiple boxes and do all my work in Linux. When I need Windows, I boot up that machine and RDP into it. Over time, I need to do that less and less. I’m still a gamer though, and I refuse to pay exorbitant console prices for games and

First of all, you didn’t mention anything about the military in your first post. So maybe you should read up on how to make a point comprehensively before telling somebody else to read up on something. The information that you mentioned, by

None of that information even remotely threatens national security outside of the military. If the military is doing things that civilians commonly do then maybe, you know, they should stop that.

Right, because that's exactly what I said. The point that you missed, since you're being extremely uncharitable, is that rule by government works more often than it doesn't. Nobody agrees with you here. That's why all of

Yeah, you’re right...Anybody should be allowed to do anything that they want like on the highway where you’re allowed to just ram your car into other drivers without any consequences.

That proves nothing. Those products would not have failed if they were not in Walmart because there are plenty of other outlets instead of just two.

The only selling point for many developers is that you need a Mac to compile a program for iOS. Apple would have never gotten any of my money if it weren’t for that.

If electric cars become as popular as smart phones that will change too. Just because 2 bad actors exist doesn’t mean we can’t stop them.

You seem to be stuck on continually making the point that if something hasn’t happened already that it should never happen. Phones are a lot more important than consoles but, if a law doesn’t exist let’s make one that applies to both phones
