I think your messaging could be a bit more clear. What you do is pretty abstract. After reading the article and your landing page, I'm not actually sure what your product does or why I would want it.

I've used Algorithms by S. Dasgupta, C.H. Papadimitriou, and U.V. Vazirani for the course they teach at Berkeley and didn't like it at all. I'm a pretty big fan of Algorithms by Sedgewick. There is a class on Cousera is also

I don't ask people to sign NDAs and I personally don't really care about them but is there a legal reason people/VCs don't want to sign NDAs?

Have you considered reaching out to different design blogs and giving their users a free month? Have you reached out to influential twitter users who have a design audience? Let us know what you've already tried.

Actually, JRuby is a JVM clone of Ruby. And Ruby on Rails on JRuby is a JVM clone of Rails. I don't know where to start with the differences but Grails is nothing like Rails. The ORM, the naming conventions, configuration, GSPs vs ERB,

I'm interested in starting a start up that deals with SMB. I think a lot of your advice is very applicable but you would change anything for a deal size that's between $4,500 - $6,000 per year?

I didn't know that. Thanks for that heads up.

It seems like contriubtion guidelines aren't necessarily what the author is pushing. AFIK, this wouldn't help new developers get up to speed with the code base.

I haven't seen any benchmarks that make it seem like Angular is "painfully slow." AFAIK, its on par or faster than ember.js and knockout.js. What would you use instead for MV* in the browser?

I guess that makes sense but do most people who use node.js use mongo in production or just as a scaffolding tool?

What's the deal with MongoDB and the node.js community? I don't find non relational databases that enticing and there are javascript drivers for postgres [1]. [1] https://github.com/creationix/postgres-js
