>Why does a framework have to carry features only needed in edge cases? Because most apps are being built in the conditions of uncertainty and the development team doesn't know if the edge case will become a business requirement. &g

That's not what they said. Not every web app needs to be a single page app, that's true but it's a non sequitur. The point was that if a new framework aims to capture enough attention and traction to be a sustainable alternat

I've been considerably dissatisfied with AWS lately, namely their lack of real customer support for billing issues and was shopping around for a Postgres provider. http://databaselabs.io seems to be a good choice if you

You can host a server yourself or use a version hosted by the company. If you are not concerned with privacy issues, it works like a traditional mail client.

My point is that your statement "[Russia expansion] didn't involve massive conquest or colonialism" is demonstrably false. No amount of whataboutism or moving goalposts will be able to change that.

>They've been fighting off invaders pretty much since the beginning of time Right. Russian Empire has grown to the size of one sixth of all land on Earth by defending from invaders.

Right, that's why Netherlands, Sweden and South Korea have similarly slow data transfer rates and high prices as US. /s Also most high speed connections in Kiev are not fiber but ethernet cables.

ISP competition in Kiev is intense. Business rates for symmetrical ethernet are around $50-200/month for 100 Mbit and $300-500/month for 1Gbit eth/fiber. Monopoly sucks.

Ukraine is insanely cheap for digital nomads. $2000/month will get you a very high quality of life, including a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment in a city center, great food from restaurants, adequate access to modern healthcare and diverse ni

These are mostly real international data transfer rates, at least for torrents/CDN servers/S3.

This is so ridiculous, it's literally unbelievable. My home city, Kiev(Ukraine), has multiple 1 Gbit residential broadband providers for $6 - $15. Not joking.

Yes, adulthood is a continuum. That's why it's wrong to say that college is for "adults". Some of students are very immature, some have more wisdom than older people. So I am not disagreeing with your point of view.

University remains a place for adults who are not legally recognized as adults but are expected to fully act as adults. So consistent, much logic.

The fact that you are being(edit: was) downvoted for constructive opinion shows unwarranted prejudice of HN hivemind towards web technologies. HN discussions on this topic are effectively useless, any constructive truth finding is drowned.
