It's custom fonts that don't share metrics with built in fonts. If they don't do that the page content jumps around when the fonts load. Custom fonts were a terrible idea, I wish browsers would just drop support for them. EDI

Generally when I want to share photos here I just use IPFS since it's free and super easy via https://anarkrypto.github.io/upload-files-to-ipfs-from-brows... Then just use the cloudflare gateway to share the link.

IME most people IRL also think XP was the peak of UI design. Personally I prefer Windows 98 (really FVWM if given the choice, and I am given the choice so that's what I run.)

tbh mobile interfaces aren't even nice on phones. I own a Pinephone and normal X11 apps feel like an improvement even with that form factor.

They/them is only plural. It works ok in writing but IMO it sounds really weird to use it in casual conversation. I used to agree with the APA style guide that you should just use them but lately I've been having second thoughts
