For a while I was running my second monitor over DVI. And putting Amazon prime on it cause the video to go blank. I know why (I think there's some bs about not running HDCP over DVI even though it's basically HDMI in most Configs)

In Australia it's been on Telstra for a bit. I got it working on Optus last year. I don't know what happens to other companies running over the Telstra or Optus networks though.

dbus only covers a few use cases covered by all of these. Things like signals, file locking and mmap are still pretty important. Even if your using dbus. (Eg use dbus to share a file and mmap it)

I had that. Under Settings -> Audio there's a setting "Automatically adjust microphone volume". It used to happen to me on Windows as well.

You can hook up a desktop graphics card to Raspberry Pi 4 compute board. It's got 2 lanes of PCIe gen 2. Its very unlikely you can get drivers working with it though.
