And L3 wasn't shared in 8 core Ryzens since Zen1. Although they're not seperate of CCX's. They still have a split l3 cache.

- terafo 5y agoIt's true for Zen 1, Zen+ and Zen 2. But they changed it with Zen 3. Latency went up from 40 cycles to 47 cycles, but accessible for single core cache capacity doubled, and it greatly improved single threaded performance since single-thread now can utilize full CCD l3 cache.
