I think you mean that you saw Trump's solution as more effective. It wasn't more nuanced. Trump's solution involved a one off payoff for a supporter (Oracle), whereas the current admin is at least trying to develop a policy

And Facebook doesn’t sell user data either. I know there are lots of people here knowingly redefining the meaning of sell in this regard, but doing so is really harmful to the privacy cause since most companies do actually sell user data so

I'm sorry that there isn't a free/cheap tier. I don't mind paying US$8/m when I'm actively using it, but I wouldn't want to continue that if I have a period when I'm just using it a little. So, when&#

I had a doctor mistakenly up my dosage tenfold when doing a routine renewal. My pharmacist didn’t notice the change and filled it. Surely an algorithm would have flagged this as suspicious (I’d been on the same dose for years).

Yes, cost is the issue. Everyone assumes that anyone hesitant about Nuclear power is focussed on the environmental or safety concerns, but that is wrong. The costs (and cost overruns) of the construction and maintenance of Nuclear reactors

Now I’m starting to wonder … perhaps you aren’t aware that all that stuff you are writing about iOS is simply not relevant to your stated goals. I’ll say it again, Apple simply does not allow competing browser engines. Complaining about Go
