Why is home HW the best option? You'd have to: - Purchase the hardware & replace if it breaks - Install the software & keep it updated - Pay for electricity 3.2€, that the Hetzner 1TB storage box costs, would be cheaper than th

I’ve used pcloud for 7 years, it’s been very stable and i even use it for backups (700GB daily). It’s the only solution I’ve been able to send at consistent 1Gbps speeds to (except when it’s many tiny files). About encryption, you unlock it

I've used it for a small API project, really easy to understand and setup! There's also a healthy amount of ported gems (Shards) over at: https://crystalshards.org/shards

In Sweden we have a site called https://bubb.la ( https://cor.ax/ in english) that summarize the big news only and do it objectively with zero ads. I'm sure there are similar sites in other countries.

The simplicity of this framework is second to none! I'd love to see some benchmarks, should be less than a nanosecond.

You're right that offshore Wind has a higher wind capacity, but the socialists wanted to build 4000 new on-land wind farms across the country. Also, the IEA even show in their report that Wind is the most resource-consuming power sourc

Nuclear was shut down due to tax raises and switching out the ceo to a wind-friendly person. Bulding more wind when it is not blowing in the winter does not help. Should we freeze at -10C for days until there is wind again?
