Will be interesting to see the benchmarks! There's a lot of KV engines that uses RocksDB now, like CockroachDB (Forked into PebbleDB though), YugabyteDB and TiDB. Those are all many times slower than Redis though, so having a middle-gr

Isn't it cheaper to just use cloudflare worker cron to do the same thing, with logs, history, custom hooks etc? Also, without unknown resource cost after limits are reached.

South Sweden, daytime, at 0.6€/KwH, gasoline is cheaper per 10km. Benzine is 1.7-2€/liter.

South Sweden, if we didn't export huge amounts of energy to Germany and shut down 4 nuclear plants (With 20+ years left of life), it would be a permanent < 0.06/KwH.

Lower-cost EVs have a limited battery capacity, so it's unavoidable when traveling between cities. Charging at night with hourly pricing, is just 0.06€/KwH (Sweden) (But going up due to industries switching to night shifts..).

The article is in UK, but prices have started to go up on some public charging in Sweden too. Some are at 0.7€/KwH, which is more expensive than using a gasoline car, despite high fuel prices (Especially in the winter) Fast charging al

Wouldn't it be hard or even impossible to get a new job, when you're labelled a racist and an oppressor? I know it's indirect, but I doubt any twilio-sized employer would even remotely be associated with those two words.

I'm ashamed at our countrys paltry 14% (Sweden). ISPs don't want to spend money exchanging routers. There's a per-country map here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/ipv6/statistics.html#tab=per-..

Mostly older houses do (< 50s), and yes, wood is the most cost effective. This house is > 70s, doesn't have a chimney, but we're considering installing a cast-iron wood burner in the house center for this winter.

A friend drilled a new hole 5 years ago with a modern pump attached, with water carrier, still draws more power than we do for our 2 air pumps (cheap variants). Update: He drilled 160 meters into mountain.

I'm in region 4, normally we have around 1600KwH in the worst winter month (small house, 2 air pumps). If prices rise 5x as is expected, we're looking at ~8000€ for a single month. (1€/KwH x 5)
