This is amazing! Thanks for sharing, I follow Comma and somehow didn’t notice this announcement at all.

Yep, the limit was a big piece of this issue and I forgot that detail. And nice, I’ll have to look into that! Thanks for this info, good to know.

To the former point, you’re saying it doesn’t make sense for GQL, I’m saying why fix what isn’t broken? Request level caching works great for certain needs. But I get your point that it doesn’t apply as directly for GQL and yes, people do h

Interesting, I see how that would not be as easily replicated with traditional REST. You would either need a bunch of requests or your client would need to be intimately familiar with the API. This leads me to think GQL has some benefits wh

Sure you can query over GET but to a single endpoint - so no ability to utilize built in browser caching for any requests you want to optimize unless you offload them from graphql. As for the 500, you can pass error details in the payload j

Playing devils advocate here: Is the status code query specific or request specific? If I have a resolver that can handle multiple queries, does it matter if one or more queries internally fails? Doesn’t that mean the request was either deg

What is the benefit of every request being POST? This makes caching a harder problem to solve. Also, why is every status code 200 even in the event of an error? They want you to pass an error key in your payload and have your client be proc

Pretty interesting point, didn’t think of that. The casualty of it. It is rather intimidating to see someone piloting with a large controller, as opposed to just whipping out their phone like any other time. Definitely makes for a more low-

Because putting food on the table so your family can eat isn’t a choice. Don’t have savings to burn through as you do that? Then it’s not a choice. Just one example. Morality may not be objective, but it surely isn’t just personal either. T

So almost 1/10th of the Mini 2 flight time, for 6/10ths the price, and like 2/10ths the featureset and quality of capture. Do people really love Snapchat that much that they’d choose such a trade off for app integration alone

So, 5-8 minutes max of flight time per battery…sigh. Even assuming 60-sec is the “default” flight time.

Sure, but you have to go physically put your shovel in the hole first and then come back. …just be careful. There’s a man in the middle of the tunnel who will try to take your stuff.

Nothing gets “installed” in the traditional sense on a chromebook. When you login to the chromebook, you can log in with any Google credentials. The credentials the school gave your son are managed by them. If you log into that account, it

Makes sense, thanks for your input here! Do you care that the food is left on the ground, or do you provide somewhere for them to set it? Does the heat dissipation from the ground bother you at all, since you take your time, or not a concer

The markup is a huge issue, so many pockets to pay out. The multi-app issue is also quite rampant problem that I’m not sure how companies plan to address. I have some ideas. Thank you for your feedback here. So, if you could guarantee the s

Seems like feedback so far is leaving food on the ground is a non-issue. Really appreciate your input here. There are definitely some issues I’ve noticed with timing algorithms, especially around multi-order deliveries.

Great feedback, appreciate you taking the time. I wonder if a picture or something of your door ahead of time would help, not like there is a place to give this to drivers now. Tough problem to solve, very valid.

“If he said "If you hire bottom of the barrel American developers" then nobody would have said a thing.” Because there is no existing, racist, “bottom of the barrel” stereotype around American devs.

You’re right - I hear other less fortunate parts of the world are ready for their turn to get overworked and underpaid. Not like it has to do with the fact they hold the worlds largest populations or anything. Nah, you’re right. Their board

Agree it’s the same thing! Two wrongs don’t make a right. Others behavior does not excuse my own. In this instance we are not talking about white men though so to use that as a counter argument would be plain whataboutism, but I understand

Where did I assume bad intention? I explicitly said mistakes happen, chalking it up to accidental wording. Two comments up. [1] And yes, I went very far out of my way to comment on the website I visit multiple times a day. You can continue

“Bottom of the barrel devs in India” !== “bottom of the barrel Indian devs” Way to move the goal posts. Do I need to explain this? You’ve contextualized the bucket in your new statement. Why do you think that efficiency difference exists in
