My understanding is that you can edit images inside of Davinci Resolve just like video, though I haven't attempted it myself.

Edit: this comment is referring to deepfakes more broadly, and is not a commentary on the validity of the source linked here. I can't speak to the reputability of the community developing this, or how it has been used so far. -- I

I'm interested, and I'm attempting to email you, though I can't quite figure out the email address. I keep getting an address not found error.

I've been looking into Nextcloud/Photoprism for a more efficient storage/browser experience, but honestly the software seems pretty amateur so far (vs Google Photos / Apple Photos). For now, everything is loosely store o

That makes sense. This archive tool is even more out there because it's not a direct link or file of the content, but just a capture of what the content would be. My work is mostly UI/UX and design related, so the capture is actua

As an added note, I stopped using Rewind because of the "steep" monthly cost ($20 a month), and the fact that I'd only want to use it as a backup to use long term. Upon reflection, $240 a year to have completely uncut video o

I take screenshots all the time, and sync them to iCloud so I can access them immediately on my phone/iPad. I also back up previous years of screenshots, I think I have back to 2015 right now. But one thing that I've been keeping

Definitely not on-par with the makerspace equipment quality, it'd be hobbyist equipment at that point, which would likely suit my needs just fine for a few years.

The $5K+ CNC. Good equipment for sure. But they even had lathe courses with $100-$200 classes to get started, tacked onto the regular membership, and you'd have to show for the scheduled class times (that only happened every 1-2 weeks)

I was in Sacramento over the past year and a half and heavily considered Hacker Lab. I actually toured it, and almost got a membership. The reasons I didn't were mostly financial + time investment. Membership fee was decent ($99 month

Thanks a lot! Sorry I didn't comment on this earlier. I have a heavy background of video editing and motion graphics, so I used a mix of Illustrator, Figma, and After Effects.

Does it? I don't have any integrations to activate something like that AFAIK. This is my first self-developed site, I'm using Gatsby,js, so it's possible they're trying to do some heavy-lifting for VR that I'm not f

That's an interesting take, and I considered originally mentioning an AI that could auto-tag groups of messages. I honestly wrote this as a starter simply because I don't think there's nearly enough attention on innovation in

Hi, this is very valuable information for me. This is actually my first time developing a website, so I sorta brute-forced the content onto the site. I'm new to that side of things, and it's a deep learning experience for me. I th

Thanks! To some degree the structure was the focus, because I believe the UI/UX would be the make or break for an attempt like this. I don't even think my designs would be a perfect implementation of this method. Sqwok seems very

I hadn't heard of Zulip before today, but I think they have a very good approach to this problem. In some ways it's like tagging each message.

I tend to agree, and don't think this would make sense for super small conversations. I'm considering the larger groups, and also a foundational shift that could completely replace the likes of facebook groups. It would no longer

The intent is that this would be largely automatic. Videos, photos, gifs, links, etc., could automatically include a “comment” function (in-place of the current reply function). If done manually (to a message, or group of messages) it could

I think that’s of valid concern. Removing users from the immediacy of a chat into a comment section could be jarring. Facebook seems to have bridged that gap by adding “... is Typing” directly to comments sections, to make them feel more al
